Port Wine Museum

The Museum of Port Wine occupies the ground floor of the Cais Novo warehouse, which is an eighteenth-century building constructed to serve as a depot of wines of the General Company of Agriculture of the Upper Douro Vineyards. This museum shows the importance that the Port wine and its trade, in the development of the city of Porto, whose history goes hand in hand with the wine that took its name abroad. The visit is organized to show visitors the story of three “Portos”: Porto city; Porto Wine and Porto Douro River.
