Museum of Anatomy of Porto's University Faculty of Medicine
Created in 1825, the Museum of Anatomy of Porto's University Faculty of Medicine has hundreds of body parts, some of them are older than 100 years, what makes this a very important collection. Over several rooms, visitors get to know more about the central nervous system and the peripheral nervous system, followed by anatomical preparations of the various organ systems of the human body - with emphasis for those who are demonstrative of anatomical variations. There are rooms dedicated to Teratology, to the Comparative Anatomy and, finally, to the skeletal system, where are exhibited various skeletons and several human skulls.
