Corujeira Square
Located in the parish of Campanhã, in the eastern part of the city, Corujeira Square is known for its garden, which is named after the “owl” (coruja). Reclassified as a Municipal Garden in 1993, it has leafy plane trees and designated areas for sports. Nearby, in the Rua do Falcão, is the Church of Santa Maria of Campanhã, which was built in 1714, but was plundered and destroyed on several occasions until it was revamped in the early twentieth century.
